Double cleansing with treatment oil and face soap is an effective and gentle way to clean the face. Especially suitable for couperotic, atopic or rosacea skin.

The gentleness of double cleansing is based on the fact that the oil removes make-up and absorbs impurities from the skin, after which the facial soap only washes away the added oil and impurities. In this way, the surface of the face better maintains its own moisture barrier. The skin doesn't dry out and you still get the skin thoroughly cleansed and the make-up comes off.

Try this especially if the skin has a lot of impurities or you want as little stress as possible on the skin (e.g. couperotic skin, rosacea or due to atopy).

This is how you do a double cleanse

1. Start by massaging the oil of your choice (approx. 1 teaspoon) into dry skin in circular and upward movements, not forgetting the skin around the eyes and neck. Continue massaging until the make-up and dirt have started to come off.
   
   
2. Wipe off most oils and make-up with a konjac sponge moistened in slightly warm water or with a durable cotton pad .
   
   
3. Finish the facial cleansing by washing the rest of the makeup and oil from the face with face soap .
   
   
4. Rinse face, gently pat dry and Finish with face water and  with face cream / oil serum .

 

Tip: Apply all the products one after the other "wet on wet" before the skin dries and tightens. This way you get the maximum effect from the products' caring ingredients and they are better absorbed into the skin.

Tips for cleaning the skin with only oil:

• Add oil always for dry skin. Don't wet your face first, because then the cleansing oil won't stick to the dirt as well as a tap, but may remain on the skin.
• Always use clean washcloth or cloth to wipe off excess oil.
• Give your face a light massage while massaging the oil into your face. It helps to stimulate blood circulation in the skin.
• You can also wet and steam the face cloth and leave it on the face for a while before wiping off the oil. Warm steam opens the pores and enhances cleaning (removes blackheads effectively).
